Summer is almost here, and that means the return of COA’s Skyline Music Series, presented by Allen Silverstein and Buddha Lounge! Join us at Selig-Joseph-Folz Amphitheater in Kadish Park for seven Tuesday nights filled with arts and culture, kicking off right after the Fourth of July. We are thrilled to be entering our eleventh season of bringing the only free, family-friendly concerts series serving Riverwest, Harambee, Walker’s Point, Brewer’s Hill, Beerline, Brady Street, the Near East Side, and families across all of greater Milwaukee.

We have a diverse lineup including roots reggae, classic R & B, jazz, soul, funk, and more — there is truly something for everyone. This year’s Skyline Music features: De La Buena (7/11), Ahvant Soul (7/18), Urban Empress and Urbanites (7/25), Paul Cebar (8/1), 5 Card Studs (8/8), King Solomon (8/15), and Tweed Funk (8/22).

There’s more than just great music to look forward to at Skyline. The kids’ art corner activities are back, courtesy of McDonalds on E. North and Oakland, along with book giveaways and other fun surprises for the youngest members of the audience. There will also be three top tier food vendors on site, including presenting sponsor Buddha Lounge, our friends from Cousin’s Subs who plan to donate a portion of their proceeds to COA, and tasty South American fare from Pedro’s.

This year’s Skyline is shaping up to be the best yet. Can’t wait to see you down at the COA’s Kadish Park for all the festivities this summer!

Our Mission

COA Youth & Family Centers helps Milwaukee children, teens, and families reach their greatest potential through a continuum of educational, recreational, and social work programs offered through its urban community centers and rural camp facility. As a multicultural agency, COA values diversity and cooperation, and promotes growth and positive social interaction.

The COA Philosophy

COA Youth & Family Centers’ history is deeply rooted in the American Settlement House movement. The underlying foundation of this movement was that a holistic approach is essential to give children and families the tools to become self-sufficient. And more than a century later, COA continues to provide families with a holistic array of services to give children and families these tools to become stronger, healthier, and more self-sufficient.

Four-Star Organization

For nine consecutive years, COA has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, a national evaluator of nonprofit organizations. Only one percent of the nation's charities have received the highest four-star rating for twelve consecutive years.
