Project Description
COA Youth & Family Centers will kick off the ninth annual Skyline Music Series in COA’s Kadish Park on Tuesday, July 7. The series is made possible by generous sponsorship support from Jim and Deb Poliak, the Law Offices of Allen Silverstein and Ron White and will include art activities for children provided by the Riverwest Artists Association and food from local vendors.
Free weekly Skyline Music concerts will be held every Tuesday at 5:30-8:30 p.m. through August 18. The first concert on Tuesday, July 7, sponsored by Hupy & Abraham S.C., will feature a performance by one of the series favorites — RAS Movement, a reggae urban hip-hop crossover music and dance group. Skyline Music attracts over 5,000 individuals with multicultural music and activities for family audiences. It is currently is the only free weekly concert series serving Riverwest, Brewers Hill, Brady Street, Beerline, and Harambee neighborhoods.
“The Skyline Music Series has become a tradition for many families to hear great local music, enjoy quality family time and experience an unparalleled view of the Milwaukee skyline,” says Mara Duckens, COA’s Associate Executive Director.
